A playful workshop to discover archeology. After the guided tour of the museum, children and parents will spend a convivial moment together by transforming you into Neolithic jewelers to create your ornaments and your prehistoric necklace.
Description
As surprising as it may seem, two hundred ornaments were discovered at the Balmes cave which constitute an exceptional set in all the Northern Alps: ceramic, limestone, glass, Baltic amber, shell, boar's tusk or bear's tooth, just like
bronze rings and bracelets bear witness to great refinement. With this discovery workshop, you will learn about experimental archeology and see that the know-how of these prehistoric craftsmen was immense.
