Val-Cenis - Sollières-Sardières

A playful introduction to prehistoric pottery. After the guided tour of the museum, children and their parents become potters of the Neolithic to make and decorate their vases with the tools and techniques of this age.

Description

The Balmes cave has yielded numerous ceramics from the Neolithic, Bronze and Iron Ages. This workshop will introduce you to the pottery of these periods. After the guided tour of the Museum, children and parents will spend a convivial moment together trying to make and decorate your own vase with the techniques and tools of the time. You will see that the know-how of these craftsmen was immense.

Period of opening

From 15/06 to 07/08/2021, every Tuesday between 9.30 am and 12 pm.
By appointment for other periods.

Sunday 8 August 2021 between 9.30 am and 12 pm.

From 09/08 to 14/09/2021, every Tuesday between 9.30 am and 12 pm.

Additional welcome

Children must be accompanied by an adult.
