This walk takes you to the edge of the Vanoise National Park via the hamlet of Amodon. It's well worth stopping at the Romanesque chapel of Sainte Marguerite, before walking through the larch, spruce and pine trees of the valley's only classified forest.
Description
From Le Bourget town hall, take the old mule path on your right. This leads to Amodon Hamlet. (Sainte Marguerite Chapel is well worth a visit for its Romanesque architecture). Follow the mule path on the edge of the village to reach the Orgère Valley, one of the gateways to the Vanoise National Park.
