On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Liberation, the Muséobar is offering an exhibition dedicated to these events in the Maurienne valley between the summer and autumn of 1944.

21 panels presenting testimonies and documents collected by the Modane city museum since its opening in 2006.
These are the memories of Loulou Massoni in the maquis in Saint Etienne de Cuines, the testimony of Georges Lozat who participated in the liberation of La Rochette in Modane, of his wife, Gabrielle whom he met in the maquis, of written testimony of Mr. Rey, survivor of the Pont de la Denise, childhood memories of Mrs. Jacob when the Germans set fire to the mountain chalet where she spent the summer, memories of those who left to hide the livestock, of those who fled the fire of Lanslebourg or Bessans.

Opening hours on Tuesday and Wednesday between 3 pm and 7 pm. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday between 10 am and 12 pm and between 3 pm and 7 pm.
Closed Monday and Sunday.
