Be one of the next to cheer on the pro riders. At an altitude of 2642m, this mythical pass is one of the most famous in the Tour de France. It was over a century ago that the first Tour de France rider crossed this Giant of the Alps, the natural boundary between the Northern Alps with the Maurienne valley and the Southern Alps with the Briançon valley.
