
L'Iserane is the way up the Col de l'Iseran by bike. Leaving Bonneval sur Arc, you pedal between walls of snow up to Europe's highest road pass. A legendary climb! For this event, the road is reserved for bikes.
Description
The ascent of the Col de l'Iseran, the highest road pass in all the Alps at an altitude of 2770 m, is a must for all cyclists. With its 970 m of elevation gain from Bonneval-sur-Arc, this climb remains engraved in the calves of thousands of amateur and professional cyclists. Iseran is also a rare stage in the Tour de France cycling race.

On road closed from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. between the Bonneval-sur-Arc Tourist Office and the Col.

Musical entertainment offered by the HMV Tourist Office on your arrival at the pass with the acoustic duo Labo Rythmick.
You will have the possibility to go down the pass towards Val d'Isère. Our Tarentais partners: the Val d'Isère Tourist Office and its Sports Club are associated with this cycling climb with a joint departure from their side of Iseran.
Rules within the Vanoise National Park:
- Prohibition of leaving waste and rubbish.
- Prohibition to use means or objects which by their noise or their light, would be likely to disturb the animals or to disturb the calm and the tranquility of the places.
-Only remain authorized the use of objects or means within the framework of effective relief.
-The presence of a dog, even on a leash, is prohibited (except rescue)
- The use of drones is prohibited
- Prohibition of bivouac and camping
- Sorting bins are placed in the start and finish area and must be used.
NB: We advise you to remain vigilant, if you wish to descend after the administrative reopening time of the road. You are likely to encounter and be overtaken by motorized vehicles.
Bicycle traffic rules - Be sure to respect:
-The Highway Code,
- Wearing a helmet,
- Caution with other cyclists and authorized users,
-Reduced and controlled speed downhill.
