Come and find out all about the making of Beaufort cheese, the fruit of Savoies most attractive alpine pastures. This cheese is one of the family of cheeses from the pressed, cooked cheeses belonging to the Appellation d'Origine Protégée (AOP) seal and is elaborated at the cooperative in LA CHAMBRE
Its subtle taste comes not only from the fruit of careful labour during the making process, but also comes from the methods of milk production.
We sell Beaufort cheese made and matured by the cooperative and other local produce.
Period of opening
All year round from Monday to Saturday : 8h45 to 12h15 et 14h30 to 19h00.
Sunday and bank holidays: 8h45 to 12h15.
