A cycling holiday

It is no longer reserved for the elite! Today the bicycle trip is multiplying in different forms with different practices (road, MTB, gravel, or E-bike), alone or with friends, manpower or electric. A cycling holiday has become accessible to all cyclists and a guarantee we can lessen our impact on the environment. Green travel on two wheels through this mountain playground.

In this context, the Maurienne is the link between the Northern Alps (via the Iseran and Madeleine passes) and the Southern Alps (via the Télégraphe / Galibier, Croix de Fer, and Glandon); to greater France (via the Grand Cucheron or La Mauriennaise) and to Italy (via the Col du Mont Cenis). The Maurienne is at the heart of cycling in the French Alps.

The Maurienne is one of the longest valleys in the Alpine arc and by its diversity of landscapes and its rich heritage, it offers you a unique journey when you cross it!

Whether by the Route des Grandes Alps, the Tour de Belledonne, or by routes in the middle of nature, off the tarmac such as the Thabor or the Clappier pass, the Maurienne will leave you with memories of WOW and wonder.  In the Maurienne when the tarmac ends, the gravel adventures begin. You can discover the high mountain valleys on MTB or Gravel bike.

You will be amazed! Magnificent loops and crossings await you!
