A registered training organisation, the "Happy Resort" school was created in 2012 in Modane Valfréjus to meet the demand of the tourist offices of the mountain resorts (Northern Alps), within the framework of the recruitment and training of resort animators.
Description
It is the only animation school in France created within a tourist site: a ski resort, and it is the only one to allow some of its courses to be able to test its theoretical courses in front of real holidaymakers in practical work.
In 2015, thanks to the success of the previous years, the school was asked by hotel clubs in the mountains to train their instructors. The school thus took a new turn.
Then the school thinks bigger, and turns to the outdoor hotel industry, from which several training courses are coming out in early 2017.
The school's trainers have a wide range of experience in the field of animation, as they are themselves animators and responsible for animation in various structures: tour operators, village-club, open-air hotels, mountain resorts, tourist offices, camps, and school trainers.
They bring an unprecedented value to the school and to the tourist structures.
Happy Resort is delighted to be supported, financed and accredited by the Rhône-Alpes region, Pôle Emploi and various institutions.
In 2018, it is the only school to offer a two-season training course for entertainers: winter and summer entertainers thanks to a 4-month paid and financed pre-training course in the resort and in season, followed directly by a professional contract in the open-air hotel industry. All of this training (pre-training + professional contract) leads to a level IV title recognised by the state.
