Virtual tour of the passes
Overhanging panoramic platform with a sublime view of Lake Mont-Cenis and far beyond. In winter, it is accessible to skiers only (top of the ski area) via the ski slopes.
Description
La Canopée des Cîmes (mountaintop canopy) is a suspension lookout located on the very summit of Val Cenis (2 800meters / 9186,352 feet) which can host 15 to 20 people simultaneously.
Formerly everybody arriving with the chairlift used to reach the mountain edge in order to appreciate the open landscape onto the Mont Cenis lake and Franco-Italian mountains.
This unusual and genuine architectural platform allows people to move safely forward above the air and appreciate the outstanding surrounding landscape.
Period of opening
From 17/12/2023 to 19/04/2024, daily between 9 am and 4.30 pm.
From 15/12/2024 to 21/04/2025, daily between 9 am and 4.30 pm.
