For this second season of the Estivales du vélo, Maurienne Tourisme and its partners are taking you along an exploration of events and activities around cycling.
Alone or in a group, on a road bike, electric bike, gravel or mountain bike, you will find something to get into the saddle and clipped in!

Each year, the Maurienne hosts many races, some of which are known to reveal talent; Do not miss them !
The Critérium du Dauphiné – Stage 7 – Col du Galibier / Col de la Croix de Fer on June 11, 2022;
The Ultra cycling tour de la Vanoise – amateur race on July 1 and 2, 2022;
The Cyclosportive Le Pape Marmotte Granfondo Alpes , amateur race on July 2 and 3;
The Etape du Tour , amateur race in the Galibier and Croix de Fer sector, on July 10, 2022;
The unmissable Tour de France cycling race on July 13 and 14, 2022 ; with steps 11 and 12;
The Trans’Maurienne Vanoise ; amateur running and hiking; from July 17 to 22, 2022;
The Tour de Savoie Mont Blanc on August 6, 2022,

Amateur competitions
On August 24, 2022, the 4th stage of the cyclosportive ” La Haute Route des Alpes ” begins in Maurienne with the famous and feared Col du Glandon: an ascent of more than 1300 meters. Then, with sections with more than 10% vertical drop, the formidable ascent of the Col de la Madeleine will put all runners to the test. Stage 4: 152km / 4100m D+
On August 28, another cyclosportive passing through Maurienne: the GFNY Vaujany . The runners will arrive via the Col de la Croix de Fer to descend towards Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne and complete a loop to reach the Col du Glandon for an arrival in Vaujany.
On July 2 and 3, the very famous ” Marmotte Granfondo Alpes ” will pass through the Maurienne as usual, arriving via the Col du Glandon before joining the Col du Galibier for a grand finale in Alpe d’Huez, with our neighboring friends from Oisans.
Km & height difference: 177 km | 5000 m/d+
Cols : Col du Glandon 24.1km 4.78%, Col du Télégraphe 11.5km 7.3%, Col du Galibier 17.6km 7%, Alpe d’Huez 13km 8%
The presence and passage of all these events is an opportunity to remember that the Maurienne is a must for cycling events with the presence of major passes: Galibier, Iseran, Croix de Fer, Glandon, Madeleine, etc.
