Les élites du cyclisme mondial au Glandon

The top women cyclists from around the world passed through the Maurienne and Col du Glandon on Sunday, August 18, 2024.

It was a very challenging stage, taking place in mist and cool temperatures before continuing towards Alpe d’Huez. Demi Vollering (Netherlands) won the eighth and final stage of the women’s race, which took place between Le Grand-Bornand (Haute-Savoie) and Alpe d’Huez (Isère) over a distance of 150 kilometers. She finished ahead of Pauliena Rooijakkers (Netherlands) and Evita Muzic (France). Katarzyna Niewiadoma (Poland) won the 3rd edition of this competition, succeeding Demi Vollering in the event’s record.
