Description

The Bissorte Dam is a gravity dam, built from 1930 to 1935 to supply a hydroelectric plant capable of generating 75 megawatts of power.
It offers an amazing view on the surrounding mountains.
Access via the Prec forest trail (accessible by car), which starts from La Praz, to the Prec car park and then by walking about 1h.
Possibility to combine your trek with a night at the Refuge des Marches.

Period of opening

From 01/06 to 30/11, daily.
According to snow condition.
