At 2850 m altitude, the fort was built in 1889 to control the col of Mont Cenis and the Italian border. There are only ruins left of the defensive barracks Exceptional view over the Mont Cenis ake.

Description

Accessible for day hikes with exceptional views of Lake Mont-Cenis.

From 15/05 to 31/10 daily.
Depending on the opening dates of the Mont Cenis pass and the snow conditions. Please note that the fort cannot be visited.
