The valley of Polset is located at 1820 m of altitude, on the commune of Modane, in the National Park of Vanoise.
In summer, the valley is accessible either by the Orgère road (RD106, town of Saint André), or by the Amodon path (town of Villarodin-Bourget) and the GR55, Pralognan-la-Vanoise-Modane route.
In winter, accessible only by foot, snowshoes or ski touring (off-piste link from the Val Thorens-3 Vallées resort).
