Description

The Vallon de Polset lies at an altitude of 1820 m, in the commune of Modane, in the Parc national de la Vanoise.
In summer, the vallon is accessible either via the Route de l'Orgère (RD106, commune of Saint André), or via the Chemin d'Amodon (commune of Villarodin-Bourget) and the GR55, Pralognan-la-Vanoise-Modane route.
In winter, accessible only on foot, snowshoes or ski touring (off-piste link from Val Thorens-3 Vallées resort).

Period of opening

From 21/12/2025 to 28/06/2026 on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday and bank holidays between 12 pm and 3.30 pm.
By reservation only; minimum of 4 people.

From 04/07 to 30/08/2026 daily.
In the evening, by reservation only.

From 19/12/2026 to 10/04/2027 daily.
Off-season (spring and fall), by reservation.
